Ms Jane McGregor, Senior Clinical Psychologist
B.A.(Hons); M.Psychol.(Clinical). MAPS. MAACBT, MACPA
Jane has been practising as a Clinical Psychologist in the Northern Rivers area since 1994. Prior to that Jane was teaching both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Psychology at Sydney University. She relocated from Sydney to establish and run a Specialist Treatment and Assessment Clinic for Anxiety Disorders for the Northern Rivers Area Health Service, where she was appointed as a Senior Clinical Psychologist.
Jane specialises in the treatment of Adults suffering from Anxiety Disorders – Panic, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, and Agoraphobia.
Other areas of speciality include: the assessment and management of Depression; Health Psychology; Adjustment to Illness; Grief; and Stress Management. Jane is a specialist in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Jane has also held other academic posts at Bond University as the Clinic Director for the Masters of Clinical Psychology Program, and as a casual lecturer at Southern Cross University Lismore.
She is a former Independent Consultant for WorkCover NSW and Medical Assessor for the Motor Accidents Authority of NSW. Jane is currently the Chair of the North Coast Branch of the Australian Psychological Society.
Jane is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, the Australasian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT), and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
She holds full registration as an Endorsed Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg. #: PSY0001137666).
Ms Kirsty Sloan, Clinical Psychologist
BPsych (Hons); MClinPsych, MAPS.
Kirsty is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in the area of Child, Adolescent and Family difficulties. Kirsty is committed to using evidence based approaches in her work, and particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and families experiencing difficulties related to anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, behaviour and sleep difficulties, emotional resilience, self esteem and social skills, trauma and abuse, and parenting and family relationship issues. Kirsty works with individual clients, parents and families. Kirsty is also available to conduct workshops for groups and organisations regarding issues of child development and child and adolescent psychology.
Kirsty has worked in a number of different settings including private practice, the public health sector, and a number of child based non government organisations. Kristy’s time at Melbourne IVF also means that she has a particular interest in helping individuals and couples deal with fertility issues and IVF treatment.
Kristy’s main area of research interest has been focused on looking at how parents and families cope when they have a baby born prematurely or a baby in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or Special Care Unit. Kirsty has worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and the Mater Mothers Hospital as part of this work. Her research in this area has helped hospitals develop better resources and programs to help support parents and families during this often difficult time.
Kirsty regularly attends conferences and workshops to ensure she stays up to date with the latest developments and treatment approaches.
Kirsty is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

Ms Deborah Knight, Senior Clinical Psychologist
B.A.(Hons); M.Psychol.(Clinical) MAPS, MACPA.
Deborah has over 25 years experience working in paediatric clinical psychology. Before moving to the North Coast in 2010 she was the long-serving Director of Dalwood Assessment Centre in Sydney, a tertiary referral centre for regional and rural children with learning, behavioural and communication difficulties.
Deborah has extensive experience working with children and adolescents experiencing social, emotional and disruptive behaviour difficulties and has particular expertise in the assessment and management of children with learning, attention and autism spectrum disorders.
Deborah is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

Ms Claire Lehmann, Clinical Psychologist Registrar
BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clinical), MAPS.
Claire completed her postgraduate studies in clinical psychology at the University of New England in early 2012. She was awarded the APS Clinical Psychology Student Prize for her academic achievements and is currently working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Her research to date has focussed on memory assessment with older adults and the health related behaviours of adolescents in the Northern Rivers area.
Claire has experience in a number of different settings including working with adults in private practice and adolescents in a public health setting. She currently provides assessment and treatment for adults experiencing difficulties with depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and adjustment difficulties.
Claire is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy. She is a fully registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia PSY 0001409892.
