Ms Jane McGregor, Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
B.A.(Hons); M.Psychol.(Clinical). MAPS. MAACBT. MACPA.
Jane has been practising as a Clinical Psychologist in the Northern Rivers area since 1994. Prior to that Jane was teaching both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Psychology at Sydney University. She relocated from Sydney to establish and run a Specialist Treatment and Assessment Clinic for Anxiety Disorders for the Northern Rivers Area Health Service, where she was appointed as a Senior Clinical Psychologist.
Jane is well versed in the treatment of Adults suffering from Anxiety Disorders – Panic, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, and Agoraphobia.
Other areas of experience and prectice include: the assessment and management of Depression; Health Psychology; Adjustment to Illness; Grief; End of Life issues; and Stress Management. Jane is a specialist in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Jane has also held other academic posts at Bond University as the Clinic Director for the Masters of Clinical Psychology Program, and as a casual lecturer at Southern Cross University Lismore.
She is a former Independent Consultant for Work Cover NSW and former Medical Assessor for the Motor Accidents Authority of NSW. Jane is currently an executive member, and former Chair, of the North Coast Branch of the Australian Psychological Society. She is a also a registered treatment provider for Work Cover NSW and Medicare.
Jane is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, the Australasian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT), and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).

Ms Kirsty Sloan, Child and Family Clinical Psychologist.

Kirsty is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in the area of Child, Adolescent and Family difficulties. Kirsty is committed to using evidence based approaches in her work, and particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and families experiencing difficulties related to anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, behaviour and sleep difficulties, emotional resilience, self esteem and social skills, trauma and abuse, and parenting and family relationship issues. Kirsty works with individual clients, parents and families. Kirsty is also available to conduct workshops for groups and organisations regarding issues of child development and child and adolescent psychology.
Kirsty has worked in a number of different settings including private practice, the public health sector, and a number of child based non government organisations. Kristy’s time at Melbourne IVF also means that she has a particular interest in helping individuals and couples deal with fertility issues and IVF treatment.
Kristy’s main area of research interest has been focused on looking at how parents and families cope when they have a baby born prematurely or a baby in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or Special Care Unit. Kirsty has worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and the Mater Mothers Hospital as part of this work. Her research in this area has helped hospitals develop better resources and programs to help support parents and families during this often difficult time.
Kirsty regularly attends conferences and workshops to ensure she stays up to date with the latest developments and treatment approaches.

Ms Deborah Knight, Consultant Child & Family Clinical Psychologist .
B.A.(Hons); M.Psychol.(Clinical) MAPS, MACPA.
Deborah has over 25 years experience working in paediatric clinical psychology. Before moving to the North Coast in 2010 she was the long-serving Director of Dalwood Assessment Centre in Sydney, a tertiary referral centre for regional and rural children with learning, behavioural and communication difficulties.
Deborah has extensive experience working with children and adolescents experiencing social, emotional and disruptive behaviour difficulties and has particular expertise in the assessment and management of children with learning, attention and autism spectrum disorders.
Deborah is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

Ms Claire Lehmann, Clinical Psychologist.

Claire completed her postgraduate studies in clinical psychology at the University of New England in early 2012. She was awarded the APS Clinical Psychology Student Prize for her academic achievements and is currently working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Her research to date has focussed on memory assessment with older adults and the health related behaviours of adolescents in the Northern Rivers area.
Claire has experience in a number of different settings including working with adults in private practice and adolescents in a public health setting. She currently provides assessment and treatment for adults experiencing difficulties with depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and adjustment difficulties.
Claire is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy. She is a fully registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia PSY 0001409892.
Ms Kylie O’Brien, Clinical Psychologist (Registrar)
BA (Hons), MPsych (Clinical), MAPS.
Kylie has been practising as a Psychologist for over 12 years and in early 2014 completed her postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. Kylie has experience working with both Adults and Adolescents.
Kylie has a particular interest in the clinical management of Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. She currently provides assessment and treatment for adults experiencing difficulties with depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, chronic pain and adjustment difficulties.
Other areas of professional interest include the treatment of individuals who sustain psychological and physical workplace injuries including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Chronic Pain. She has previously held positions in Workplace Rehabilitation Organisations. Kylie provides treatment to clients under Work Cover and has extensive experience in Workplace Rehabilitation and Mediation. Kylie is also accredited with Medicare.

Mr Eric Van den Bossche, Consultant Clinical Psychologist
BA (Hons); GDipEdPsych; MSocSc (Criminology); MPsychol (Clinical) MAPS CCLIN
Eric has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist in the Northern Rivers since 2013. Prior to that Eric was working as the Discipline Senior of Psychology for a regional public mental health service in Victoria and General Psychologist in Sydney in adult mental health and forensic services as well as private practice. He relocated from Phillip Island Victoria to the Northern Rivers to pursue his family’s dream of a life on the beach somewhere warm!
Eric has advanced training in the treatment of Adults suffering from long-term Depression and complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He also has extensive experience working with individuals who have a Personality Disorder and major mental illness including Schizophrenia and Bipolar Affective Disorder. Indeed, he continues to work in the local mental health service providing psychological services in an acute inpatient hospital setting.
Other areas of specialty include: the assessment and management re-offending risk; the assessment of complex mental health presentations for diagnostic clarification; psycho-education and skills development for carers of a person with a mental illness; and he has conducted and published research in the areas of re-offending risk and non-suicidal self-injury. Eric has been trained in and practices Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Eric also provides post-graduate psychology student supervision and clinical supervision to registered psychologists, clinical psychologists and registrar clinical psychologists seeking admission into the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society. He is a registered provider for Work Cover NSW and Medicare.
